A great house is always a work in progress, especially when the very creative clients are a clothing designer/seamstress/jewelry maker/bird photographer and a musician/novelist. Over the course of a decade, we’ve renovated all three floors of the 1898 Colonial Revival home. Our most recent collaboration transformed the first floor into a cozy space for composing and playing music. We also designed an addition that meets the rigorous Lowry Hill East Residential Historic District design guidelines. Finished with windows on three sides, the light-filled studio offers plenty of room for making patterns, cutting fabrics, sewing, creating jewelry and planning photographic adventures.
