Isles Tudor
It’s always an honor to be entrusted with the renovation of a historic home. This iconic house, originally known as the Mrs. H.R. Lyon Residence, was designed in 1923 by Liebenberg and Kaplan, architects of the Uptown and State Theaters and other landmarks. Our client, a connoisseur of quality and beauty, invited us to update the exterior and interiors with thoughtful design and exquisite materiality. We re-imagined the floor plan to create elegant flow, updated the façade with new windows and a softer, more nuanced palette, and added private terraces to create a natural connection to Lake of the Isles.
